Michel Lotito The Man Who Ate a Plane

Michel Lotito (1950-2007) was a Frenchman who was capable of eating unusual things. He was nicknamed as Monsieur Mangetout (Mr Eat All). He was born in Grenoble, France.

Michel Lotito had unusual capabilities of consuming non-edible objects like metal, glass, rubber and other such materials.
Michel started his habit of eating unusual object at the age of 16 and later he started his career as an entertainer he performed various acts of eating unusual objects in front of audience.
Later he got famous for his eating habits his unusual capabilities were also featured on many TV shows.

But the most interesting thing about him was that most of the objects which he ate had no harmful effect on his body even though some of the objects which he consumed were poisonous.

Also he didn’t have any problem in bowel movements after his unusual meals. He also once said that banana and boiled eggs made him feel sick.

His technique for eating any object was to chew the objects in parts in smaller pieces before eating it. Also after eating the objects he used to drink mineral oil and water to swallow those objects as they acted as a lubricating agent which helped him to swallow the objects.

He ate various objects throughout his life he ate bicycles, shopping carts, TV, chandelier, bed, skis, coffin and computer.

However the biggest object which he consumed was Cessna 150 Aircraft. He took nearly two years to completely eat the aircraft he ate the aircraft in between the years 1978-80.

It is estimated that throughout his career he ate around nine tons of metal objects.

He died at the age of 57 because of natural causes in 2007. He is buried at the Grenoble Cemetery in France.
